  • So what makes this site successful?

I've been visiting other sites for Gamecube and Wii codes not found here: Koderwex, WiiRD, geckocodes, and others, and they are all pretty much inactive or dying. You can really tell a site's health by its forum, and those sites' forums are very inactive.

So what makes this site stay alive and getting stronger each year?

The fact that we have people who genuinely care about hacking codes, and we have rimsky who listens and cares about our concerns and ideas.
We have a forum full of members that like to help each other out. We share our knowledge and we are willing to help someone out step by step if need be. We are also a forum with extremely talented hackers, such as: Helder, Demonic722, Abystus, Viper187, nolberto82, CosmoCortney, lee4, 47iscool, Tony Hedstrom, Pyriel, and so on. The fact that we have so many talented hackers that are willing to teach and share knowledge is what makes this forum great.

I spent almost 3 years at gscentral.org and I can tell you that I didn't even come close to getting as much help there as I did here. I learned almost everything I know from the people here and from the tutorials I got from the "Library."
The biggest reason we stay healthy is because of, rimsky.

I have not seen, Parasyte (owner of Kodewerx) in a long time. Most of the admins of these sites rarely show up anymore, and so the site just kind of gets forgotten.
I guess another reason we are still a healthy forum is... luck?
I guess we are a lot luckier than some of these sites too.

    I'm retired from code hacking.
    I do not take requests!

Good reasons. I also think that a lot of people have migrated from those dead sites, to here. Whereas before everyone was on their own little niche.

I have no idea why Kodewerx died. It seems like it was off to a strong start. Then I heard they were gonna let the domain expire. LazyBastard saved the site for a while by giving it hosting then they started hosting it somewhere else after that.

We still host kodewerx. And Parasyte is active here, just not often.

I'm just glad there is still a place those of us who are still interested can gather. Screw competition, the scene needs to stay alive. And I will keep going on the site as long as there is still interest in the scene.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

We all have lives and families so we don't always have time to log in but every so often when we do alot of posts and help goes around and rimsky does indeed keep this place kicking and with a new update to be coming soon too. I would like to have more of the people from other sites come here also as there are many talented hackers for the NGC and Wii as well as PS2/PS3 which we are lacking a bit in.

Like rimsky said screw competition and let's unite to keep the scene alive and perhaps Parasyte might give us some new tools so we can keep the scene kicking a bit more.
