Bethesda's hit role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will be free to download and play on Steam all weekend. The free weekend coincides with the launch of paid mods on the service.
From now until Sunday April 26th at 1PM Pacific, you can download the game on Steam and play it for free. After that deadline if you want to continue playing the game you'll have to buy it.
Luckily, if you do choose to purchase Skyrim during the weekend you can get it for 75 percent off, or $4.99. If you buy the Legendary Edition of the game, it'll cost you $13.59. The Legendary Edition contains the Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire DLC. DLC packs are also available separately at a steep discount all weekend long.
