MegaTrainer eXperience is an application that gathers trainers for multiple games under the same roof, and it works very well for old and new titles.
Most of the trainers that you can find out there are usually designed for a single game. So, if you want a trainer for XCOM 2, for example, you download that particular application. The guys who build MegaTrainer eXperience have a different approach, and they gather all the trainers in a single application, which they update all the time.
Trainers usually work by freezing certain values straight in the RAM memory when the game is loaded, so it’s not surprising that the developers managed to gather all of trainers for so many games in a single app.
MegaTrainer eXperience is easy to use
Using the application is anything but difficult. Anyone can just install the application and run it. It’s usually advisable to start the game from the trainer, if possible, but it’s likely that it will work even if you start MegaTrainer eXperience after the game is already running.
Like with any other trainer, there is the danger of crashing the game. Most of the titles don’t have a problem, but some games don’t enjoy for certain memory addresses to be frozen, and they will subsequently crash. Fortunately, there is little chance of that.
The downside
Developers figured out that there is money to be made from trainers, so it’s becoming harder to find free trainers. For all intents and purposes, MegaTrainer eXperience is a free application, but it’s limited in a different kind of way.
When you start the application, you will notice that many of the options for each supported game are not available. In order to get access to those you will have to apply for a premium membership on their official website, and that costs a pretty penny.
For the most part, many of the options available to everyone will be enough, but you can always get that membership for more access. It’s also worth pointing out that all of the new games are supported and that the client is updated all the time to cover the latest releases.
