It was only a matter of time, y'all: With "Fallout 4" still fresh and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" barely released, the inevitable combination of the two has finally arrived.
This is what happens when you mash-up the two:

This is the work of one intrepid game modder — the concept of altering an existing game after release, usually on PC — with a passion for bringing the iconic Star Wars light saber into the post-nuclear apocalypse Boston of "Fallout 4."

The light saber essentially replaces an in-game melee weapon — a sword or a dagger — and can be used the same way. It even makes light saber sounds! It all results in incredibly brutal images like the one above.
