Artemis USB Hacking System Package (09-27-09)

INCLUDING:

IGMassDumper v0.1 (by jimmikaelkael)
PS2CC Rev 26 (by Viper187)

Hey, it's Lazy Bastard. While this is a beta release, it is still a functional PS2 hacking system. It should be noted that I did pretty much none of the work involved with this release (except for bringing together the team, writing extremely detailed specifications - at least some of which are still being adhrered to today - setting up the BountySource account, funding all of the original efforts and at least half of the recent ones, and performing some exhaustive tests of various things). For this release, you have Jimmikaelkael, Viper187, ffgriever, Polo, misfire, and a few others to thank. OK, on with the show.

Requirements:

*USB flash drive (preferably 512 MB or larger)
*PC with USB port
*PS2
*Some method of booting homebrew (FMCB, Swap Magic, modded PS2, Independence Exploit, etc)
*For this release, you'll need a Win32 operating system

Quick Instructions:

Grab IGmassdumper.elf and run it on your PS2 (if you don't have a method of booting homebrew, check out FMCB, or Google for other methods). Press X (when you're ready to launch the game in your PS2). When IGMD has finished initializing, if all went well, the game will launch. Now dump to your heart's content :)

Simply press UP + R1 + CROSS for EE dump to mass.

Keep in mind (you should probably write it down, or type it up, or whatever) what was going on in the game during each dump. After you feel you've taken a sufficient amount of dumps (heh) to narrow the search results down enough, take your USB flash drive over to your PC, run PS2CC.exe, click Search, choose File Mode, and begin performing whatever comparisons you like, choosing the next dump each time. This will work just like a live search function.

If IGMassDumper doesn't boot a game, try the other two ELFs. You may just get lucky.
